Information Security Policy
W8Data Ltd offers a range of data cleansing services and products to business customers in the UK. We screen clients’ data to help identify any issues with their data that might hurt the results of their direct mail campaign. All reports supplied are clear, concise and most importantly, useable. The key to success for W8 Data Limited is our unique product features, applications and engineering know-how, along with our commitment to superior quality and support, aiming to generate the highest customer satisfaction and protection of our customer’s data.
W8Data has created an environment where the security of information, hard copy and electronic, is effectively maintained. Implementation of this Information Security Policy will ensure compliance with legal requirements and provide a framework for the access, storage and dissemination of information in line with good practice.
W8Data is committed to working within the provisions of our information security management system, which forms part of our integrated management system and applies to all of our activities. We have implemented and maintained an Information Security Management system by the requirements of ISO 27001 Information Management Security Standard. We have adopted the process approach for developing, implementing and continually improving the effectiveness of our Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). We are committed to
• Understanding business information security requirements and the need to establish policy and objectives for information security
• Implementing and operating controls in managing our overall business risk.
• Monitoring and reviewing the performance and effectiveness of the ISMS.
• Continual improvement based on objective measures.
• Ensuring every employee shares responsibility for adequate information security.
• Communicate throughout W8Data Ltd the importance of meeting all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements related to our business activities.
• Ensuring the ISMS is maintained, continually improved, and supported with adequate resources to achieve the objectives set in this Policy Statement.
All staff are expected to ensure that information resources are handled with the appropriate levels of security to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. Information security training is provided to ensure awareness and understanding of Information Security requirements. Following this training, all users are accountable for using the information in line with Information Security Policies and controls and following the reporting process for any information security incident. We will work with our staff and supply chain to ensure the requirements of this policy are fully implemented
Quality & Environmental Policy

W8Data has created an environment where the security of information, hard copy and electronic, is effectively maintained, and our separate Information Security Policy provides details of the controls supporting this.
Our data services and products support our customer’s sustainability goals ensuring that printing and distribution of materials are optimised and that mailings are not being created and ‘delivered’ to inaccurate data subjects. Complementing this, we aim for greater eco-efficiency in our business practices.
We have established an integrated management system that focuses on quality, environmental and information security management and applies, as a catalyst, the following standards: ISO 9001 for quality, ISO 14001 to address environmental controls along with ISO 27001 for Information Security management. Our management system supports our pledge to continual improvement, protection of the environment and prevention of pollution. Our commitment to our integrated management system and sustainability ensures:

We will review, monitor and seek to improve our quality and environmental processes. This is to ensure we continually improve our management system, together with our environmental and business performance. We will work with our staff and supply chain to ensure the requirements of this policy are fully implemented.
